My buddy swore 'The Prestige' makes sense if you watch it backwards. I tried it.
My friend Mike told me last month to watch The Prestige in reverse to see the 'real plot' about the twin thing. I spent 2 hours on my couch actually doing it and now I'm more confused than before about the hats in the forest. Has anyone else fell for a dumb movie trick like this?

I tried watching it backwards too and ended up at the exact same point where I started, just with a headache and a new theory about Tesla being a conman who cloned his own hat collection. Honestly I think Mike just wanted someone to suffer through the hat forest scene twice like he did.
