Yeah but see... that's where I'd trip up. If I only kept the mugs I reach for every single morning, I'd lose all my weird holiday ones or the fancy china from my grandma. Sometimes a mug isn't for the daily grind, it's for a slow Saturday feeling fancy, you know? Keeping just the absolute daily workhorses feels a bit too cutthroat for me... I need to save a few for the mood.

Totally get that! I had the same problem with a box of my mom's old teacups. My fix was to pick just two special ones I really love and actually use them. The rest I took pictures of and let go. Now I have a fancy coffee on the porch sometimes without a cabinet full of dust collectors. It's about keeping the feeling, not every single item.

You drink from your grandma's fancy china? That's asking for trouble. Those things are super fragile. My cousin broke one just washing it. Now it's in pieces forever. Using them daily sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
