That overpriced 'screen used' wand from a Harry Potter auction broke in my hands last Saturday
I finally saved up and bought what was supposed to be a legit prop wand from a small online auction house for $450. Went to show it off at a friend's party and the tip just snapped off when I barely tapped it on a table. I'm thinking about sending it to a prop restoration guy I found on etsy, but has anyone else gotten burned by these so called authenticated props?

$450 for a prop that can't handle a gentle tap on a table sounds like you bought a very expensive toothpick. Guess the magic wore off pretty quick.
