Vent: Why does everyone post 'found dog' without a photo?

I've seen three lost pet posts on here this week with just a description like 'brown dog, floppy ears.' How do I help find the owner if I can't even match the face? Last Tuesday I drove around the block twice trying to catch a stray and couldn't be sure it was the right one. Can we make it a rule to always upload a picture?

I just screenshot the post, crop the description part, and add a note saying “no pic - can’t help match faces” - gets their attention fast. Mods usually add a pic rule after enough people do that.
