My trusty Game Boy Color screen repair turned into a 4-hour ordeal
I figured replacing a scratched lens would take 20 minutes tops, but I spent half the afternoon fishing out tiny screws that vanished into my carpet. The tri-wing screwdriver slipped and I nearly stripped one of the posts on the shell. Anyone else lose small parts and spend forever hunting them down?

Oh man, I feel your pain. My trick is to do the whole thing on a white bedsheet so dropped parts don't disappear.

The carpet part makes me cringe because I dropped a screw into a shag rug once and it took me a full day to find it by running my hands over every inch. I'd probably rather deal with a stripped post than lose a screw in that carpet maze again.
