Warning: Spent $80 on a capacitor kit and it fried my Sega Genesis

Bought one of those generic capacitor replacement kits from a random eBay seller last month for my model 1 Genesis. Figured it was a good deal with like 60 caps for $80. Popped them in and the board started smoking after 10 seconds of power. Turns out cheap low ESR caps can wreck old electronics when you don't match the specs right. Anybody else get burned by these kits or know a reliable source for the right stuff?

Hit console5 directly. Their Genesis kits are properly spec'd and worth the extra cash.

And yeah, @jason112 is right about that. Those console5 kits are properly spec'd out, saves you the headache of chasing down bad caps later.
