My pug's ghost costume went from sad to scary in one weekend
I dressed my pug Winston as a little ghost for Halloween last year and he just looked like a lumpy pillow. The sheet kept slipping over his eyes and he walked into the coffee table twice. Then I cut smaller eye holes and added a tiny glow stick inside the sheet and suddenly he looked actually spooky. Now whenever I think about costumes I spend way more time on the little details that make the whole thing work. Anyone else have a costume that looked totally different after one small change?
Is there a trick to keeping the glow stick from making the sheet look like a weird lamp instead of a ghost? I tried once with my dachshund and he just looked like a floating jellyfish from a distance.
Wait, you put a glow stick inside the sheet? That's genius. Did you just tape it to his collar or did you sew it into the fabric somehow? I gotta know because I tried something similar with my corgi's hot dog costume using those little battery lights and they kept falling out every time he shook.
