My week delivering flooring to a house with no driveway
I took a job installing laminate in a 1920s house off Market Street, and the driveway was basically a mud pit after three days of rain. Had to haul every box from my truck parked two blocks away, and by Friday my boots weighed ten pounds each. Anybody else ever take a job that looked fine on paper but turned into a nightmare because of one tiny detail?

Did you see that post on Reddit the other day about a guy who had to wheelbarrow all his tools up a half-mile gravel path? Made me think of this. Sounds like you two could swap war stories over a beer.

Honestly, I've hauled plenty of awkward stuff up muddy hills and it's annoying but not exactly a nightmare. Sounds like the guy just forgot what happens when it rains in a city with old houses.
