My cat looked like a blurry potato in every shot until I turned off the flash
I was trying to get a nice photo of my tabby, but every single one came out as this weird orange blur, and I realized my phone's flash was reflecting off his eyes and making him look like a possessed pumpkin. Has anyone else had their pet come out looking like a totally different creature?
Try shooting with a desk lamp or even a flashlight aimed at the ceiling instead of using that harsh flash. Soft, indirect light makes their fur look way more natural and you avoid the creepy glowing eye effect.
My friend Jen had her black lab come out looking like a glowing raisin with teeth in every photo. She switched off the flash and suddenly he was just a normal goofy dog again. It's wild how much difference the lighting makes with dark animals.
