Am I the only one surprised pineapple on pizza started in Canada, not Hawaii?
I was reading this food history blog last night and it said the first Hawaiian pizza was made in 1962 at a place in Ontario, Canada by a Greek guy... I always figured it came from somewhere tropical. Does that fact change anyone's opinion on whether it belongs on a pizza or not?
