That timing chain job on my '88 F-150 took 14 hours.

Figured it'd be a weekend job, maybe 8 hours tops. Ended up fighting a seized bolt on the harmonic balancer for three hours alone. Anyone else run into a bolt that just refused to budge?

Man, that's rough. I've definitely been there where a single bolt turns a quick job into an all-day nightmare.

Last weekend I stood in the garage for three hours staring at a seized brake caliper bolt that should've taken twenty minutes. It got me thinking how everything in life works that way now. You try to do one small thing and suddenly you're chasing a whole chain of problems behind it, like fixing a leaky faucet only to find out the shutoff valve is stripped too. Seems like the universe just stacks these little traps on purpose to test your patience. I swear the same principle applies to my phone updates and even my internet bill every single month.
