Why does nobody talk about the mess of wiring lights for a home sci-fi display?
Running cables for my model star system taught me that most sci-fi shows skip the boring tech details for good reason.

Seriously, is the wiring mess even THAT big of a deal? It's just part of the hobby, not some deep secret.

Ever notice how many polished things hide total chaos? Instagram photos get cropped to hide the messy room, restaurant kitchens are wild behind the calm dining area. We're all just cleaning up one corner to take the picture. The wiring mess is the same deal, it's just our version of shoving clutter into a closet before guests arrive.
