My chiffon sewing hack involves a glue stick
I used to hate sewing chiffon because it never stayed put. A friend showed me how to use a washable glue stick along the seam lines. It dries clear and washes out, holding the fabric perfectly. Now I get clean seams without any fuss.

Well, that's one way to merge arts and crafts!

I read about an exhibit at the Tate Modern where an artist used hundreds of folded paper boats and plastic trash bags to make a huge hanging sculpture. It looked like a ghostly cloud. That’s basically taking kindergarten craft supplies and turning them into something that makes you stop and stare. It definitely blurs the line between a simple project and serious art.

Sometimes the best art comes from messing around with stuff you have at home. My cousin made a whole wall hanging from old bottle caps and string, and it actually looked pretty cool (in a weird, fun way). Makes you wonder what else we're tossing out that could be turned into something neat.
