The absurd method we used to find leaks before pressure gauges were common
We'd dunk the whole tire in a tub of water and watch for bubbles. Now, a quick spray with soap solution does the trick in seconds. It was a messy but effective circus act.

Sounds like Dan’s method found every leak except the one in his common sense. That garage floor ice rink probably did more water damage than a slow leak could manage in a year. At least the packing foam bubbles gave it a festive, disastrous touch.

My buddy Dan tried the tub method in his garage last year. He turned his garage floor into a skating rink and the bubbles looked like packing foam. I wonder if it even found the leak?
