Tried folding bath towels into elephant shapes for a birthday gift
I was at my sister's house last weekend wrapping a towel gift for her kid's 5th birthday and the elephant head kept flopping over. The trunk just would not stay curled no matter how I folded it. Anyone got a trick for keeping the trunk shape from unraveling?

Honestly, maybe the flopping elephant is a sign the whole towel-animal trend has run its course. I've seen those foldings come apart at birthday parties before and it just creates a mess of damp terry cloth everywhere. Better to just wrap the towel in tissue paper or put it in a gift bag with a stuffed animal on top for the kid. Saves you the headache and looks more put together.
