Designed a toaster that prints motivational messages on your toast

So I rigged up a toaster with a little heating element stamp that burns words onto the bread as it cooks. First test with my old Breville gave me a faint 'You Got This' on a slice of sourdough, but the stamp got too hot and caught the crust on fire. Learned I need a heat sink and better timing, but it's a fun idea for morning encouragement. Any tips on keeping the stamp from scorching the bread?

Man, you are one small electrical fire away from burning down your kitchen. Just buy a sharpie and write on your toast after its done, it saves you the smoke detector going off at 6 AM.

Yeah, the "electrical fire" part is spot on. I tried the toast branding thing once and the smell stuck around for days. Just use a toothpick to scratch the letters in before you toast it, that works way better and you won't have to replace a smoke alarm.
