That week I had three clients all ask for rush jobs at once...

Yeah, I learned that the hard way. Started setting clear boundaries with clients about response times after hours. Even put it in my email signature that I don't answer work stuff past 7pm. It made a huge difference.

Just realized my writing teacher's 'show, don't tell' advice was wrong for my first chapter

Oh man, that's the best kind of feedback. My beta reader once said my hero just felt "angry all the time." So instead of saying he was bitter, I wrote a scene where he meticulously untangles a knotted fishing line instead of just cutting it. That one action showed his stubborn control way better than any adjective. Your radio fix is perfect for that.

My uncle told me to always use a heat gun on that plastic bumper glue before pulling

Might have been me, actually. My old truck still has the plastic droop to prove it. Got a little too confident with the angle grinder near the fuel line. Lesson learned the hard way, and now my passenger side looks permanently sad.

Pro tip: Wet your marver unless you want glass pancakes

What do you prefer, graphite paddles or a wet marver, when the glass starts to stick? I like a damp marver because it gives me that extra second to fix the shape. Too much water though, and you might shock the glass and crack it. Finding the right amount is a skill that comes from doing it over and over. Personal choice seems to play a big role based on what you are making.
