DAE get annoyed trying to explain 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' to people who didn't watch it?
I tried to describe the intro with the pool and the fire to my younger cousin, and he just looked at me like I was crazy. The whole vibe of that show was just a specific 90s thing you had to be there for, you know? Anyone else have a show that's impossible to properly explain now?

Trying to explain that show is like talking about a dream you had, it just doesn't translate. The whole midnight society thing made perfect sense back then. It reminds me of trying to get someone to understand the feeling of watching "Salute Your Shorts" or "Legends of the Hidden Temple." You just had to be there on a Saturday morning, you know? That specific brand of weird kid-TV magic is totally gone now.
