My AI scheduling tool double-booked me twice in one day

I used this new AI calendar app that was supposed to learn my patterns and block off travel time. On Tuesday it scheduled me for a job 45 miles away from the first one with only 20 minutes in between. I ended up missing both gigs and had to call 6 clients to apologize. Has anyone else had an AI assistant mess up simple stuff like travel distance?

Oh man, that's brutal. I once had a calendar bot schedule my dentist appointment right in the middle of a wedding ceremony I was shooting. I showed up to the wedding with toothpaste foam still on my chin because I had to rush from the cleaning. The bride was not amused, and now I just stick to writing my schedule on a whiteboard like a caveman.

Wait, don't you think the whiteboard is actually way more likely to fail you though? I mean, what happens when you forget to check it, or someone erases something by accident, or you just plain miss a line? At least with a calendar bot you can set it and forget it, plus you get automated reminders straight to your phone so you don't show up late to anything. Sounds like your real problem wasn't the bot itself but that you didn't double check your events before the wedding day, which is just basic planning. I've been using scheduling software for years and it's saved me way more times than it's screwed me, you just gotta actually look at your calendar before you commit to stuff. Plus a whiteboard has zero backup if you spill coffee on it or the marker dries out, whereas my phone syncs everywhere and I can pull it up in seconds.
