TIL a coworker told me to just run my AI model on default settings and it bombed my test results
My teammate Dave said to skip the hyperparameter tuning because the defaults were fine for our customer churn project. I ran it on a dataset of 10,000 records and the accuracy capped at 62%. Has anyone else found that default settings actually work for smaller datasets under 5,000 rows?

Wait, isn't 10,000 records already way more than 5,000?

@wren652 Did you try running it on the smaller set with defaults or did you tweak stuff?
