Just read that a single 747 has over 6 million parts
Found this in an old FAA maintenance manual from the 90s I was flipping through. It's not just the big stuff, it counts every single rivet, wire, and bolt. Makes you think about the sheer scale of the paperwork for a heavy check. Anyone else have a fact that makes your head spin about these birds?

Actually, the 6 million IS the total part count for the whole plane. It's not just one section, it's everything put together. The scale is just mind blowing.
