Showerthought: I stopped torqueing by feel and started using a dial wrench at work, and my elbow quit hurting
For about 6 months I was using a click type wrench on the engine mounts because it was faster to grab. My forearm was sore almost every week and I just figured it was the job. My coworker in the hangar at Phoenix pushed me to try his dial wrench on a full set of mounts last Tuesday, and I could actually see the needle creep up instead of waiting for the click. Took maybe 10 extra minutes but my arm felt fine the next day, which never happens. Anyone else made the switch and noticed the same thing, or is it just me?
