My expired Portra 400 sat in a hot car for 3 hours before I shot it last summer

The before shots were flat and muddy but the after shots came out with this insane golden green tint that looks like a 70s road trip magazine, guessing the heat accelerated the color shift nicely but has anyone else found a specific temp that works best for pushing expired film?

@miller.jason does the cooler trick work better than a normal car for consistent heat, or is that overthinking it?

Your best bet is probably 90-100F for a few hours. Hot car in summer does it perfect. The golden green look is from the blue layer dying faster than the red and green. 85F will give you kind of a muted pastel mess, not the punchy 70s look. Try a cooler on a sunny day with the lid cracked open for consistent heat.
