Changed my tune on re-manufactured compressors after a Denver job

I used to steer customers away from reman compressors, figured they were just a short-term fix. Then I had a job downtown Denver last month where a new unit was backordered six weeks, but a reman from a local shop showed up in two days. That replacement has been running steady for 30 days now, no weird noises or voltage drops. The shop even gave me a 12-month warranty, which is better than some OEM options I've seen. Has anyone else had good luck with remans from a specific supplier, or am I just getting lucky so far?

Well look at you, getting a reman that actually works AND a warranty, that's like finding a unicorn that does your taxes too. Just don't jinx it by telling everyone, next thing you know that shop will have a six week wait.
