Clients keep thinking a fridge can be leveled with the front feet only

I had a call last week in Austin where the guy said his new fridge was making a weird noise. He'd only adjusted the front rollers and left the back ones sitting on the plastic caps... the whole thing was rocking like a boat. I see this in at least 4 out of 10 installs. Anyone else deal with people who ignore the back leveling legs?

Man I gotta be honest I used to be one of those people who thought the front feet were the main thing. I'd just crank em down till the fridge stopped wobbling and called it good. But a few years back I installed a used fridge at my buddy's place and it sounded like a helicopter taking off every time the compressor kicked on. Took me way too long to figure out the back legs were barely touching the floor. Now I check those plastic caps first thing and make sure both back legs are making contact before I even touch the front ones. makes a huge difference with noise and vibration.

Did your buddy ever try the cardboard trick first? My friend ran into the same helicopter noise issue and spent a whole afternoon messing with the front feet before he realized the back plastic caps were cracked and one was missing completely. He ended up just shimming the back corner with a folded piece of rubber mat and it was dead quiet after that.
