My Frigidaire ice maker quit after 11 months and I fixed it with a toothpick
Last Tuesday I woke up to no ice cubes and found the water line was frozen solid inside the dispenser. I spent an hour reading forums and trying to thaw it with a hairdryer but that just made a mess. Turned out the real issue was a tiny piece of mineral buildup blocking the valve, not a freeze at all. I used a wooden toothpick to gently poke it loose and now it's working fine. Anyone else dealt with a Frigidaire ice maker that acts up like this and found a better fix?

Model number Frigidaire EHFSIS? I had the exact same clog in mine 6 months ago and poking it loose was the only thing that worked. Putting a inline water filter before the line stopped the mineral buildup from coming back for me.

Inline filters are fine but they also slow down the flow a ton.
