Heard a doc say we should leave some sites buried for the next generation

I was watching a show about digs in Turkey and this expert said we should leave some places alone for future scientists with better tech. She argued we might mess stuff up now that they could figure out later. But then another guy said we have to dig now before looters or construction wreck it all. Which side makes more sense for saving history?

Both points are valid honestly. Gotta protect sites from immediate threats but also save some cards for the future.

Ever notice how this is just like saving money? Spend too much now and you're broke later, save too much and you miss out on stuff you need.
