Last week I traded away a half-used tube of cadmium red and now I regret it big time

I swapped it for some random earth tone that someone said was "vintage ochre" but it's just brown mud. The red was my go-to for mixing flesh tones and now I have to buy a new tube full price. Anyone else give away something they later wished they kept?

And what brand was that cadmium red, because some of them are irreplaceable for mixing.

Got a pattern I see all the time - we never realize how good something is til it's gone. Like that old jacket you finally toss and then the next week the weather turns freezing. Hope the ochre works out for something at least.
