Vent: that "free" sketchbook bundle cost me 40 bucks in shipping
Someone in a local trades group insisted I grab this huge lot of half-used Moleskines and watercolor blocks for free. They said it was a steal, just pay shipping. Well, the box showed up with three crushed corners and half the pages stuck together from some old coffee spill. I spent 40 dollars on shipping and tape to rearrange the salvageable sheets into two usable pads. It taught me that free supplies from strangers can end up pricier than just buying fresh at the art store. Has anyone else gotten burned on a swap that sounded too good to pass up?
