Visited the new public library in Springfield and the 'Ask Anything' desk was completely unmanned for over an hour.

Guess they took the "Ask Anything" part too literally. Like yeah, you can ask anything, but good luck getting an answer. Probably off somewhere trying to figure out how to work the new self-checkout machines. Classic.

Actually, that sounds pretty normal for a public service desk. They probably had someone call in sick or had to cover another area. Libraries are always stretched thin on staff.
