I was sure that 'green flash' at sunset was a camera trick, but I saw it clear as day off the coast of Oregon last week.

I finally caught it with my own eyes after a hundred failed photos, just a pure green spark right as the sun vanished. Anyone know the best camera settings to actually capture that moment?

What did it look like in person?

Totally agree, pictures never do it justice. Saw it myself last weekend and the scale was just insane. You could feel the whole thing in your chest, a deep rumble. The colors were way more intense in real life too, like a bright orange you don't see on screens. Honestly stood there with my mouth open for a solid minute. Makes you realize how flat and small videos can make things look.
