Baking clear in a dusty bay on a Chevy fender taught me a hard lesson
I was spraying clear on a silver Chevy fender in my garage bay on a windy Tuesday and a dust nib turned into a full run near the wheel arch. I blocked it too hard with 800 grit trying to fix it and burned right through the clear into the base, so I had to reshoot the whole panel. How do you guys deal with dust nibs without wrecking the coat, do you wet sand and polish or just live with it?
