Hot take: stop buying CAPA bumpers for 10 year old daily drivers

A parts guy in Modesto talked me out of a $180 CAPA front bumper for a 2012 Civic and into an $85 salvage pull that fit better out of the box. If the car is worth under 5 grand and the customer just wants it to look straight, why are we paying new part prices for panels that still need work?
