I paid $340 for that fancy air filtration rig and honestly, my $40 box fan setup did the same job
Ran the numbers after 4 months of sanding in my Bayview garage and the filter changes alone cost me more than the box fans ever did. Anyone else feel like the pricey booths and scrubbers get sold to us harder than they actually earn their keep?

That line about filter changes costing more than the box fans ever did is the part I want to hear more about. What's your actual filter schedule look like, because 4 months of sanding in a garage sounds like you're swapping them way more often than the manufacturer claims? If the refills alone are eating you alive, is the real problem the rig itself or the fact that nobody warned you the upkeep would never stop?
