Unpopular opinion: I'll take a good old fashioned hammer and dolly over a stud welder puller for quarter panel work any day.

Had a nasty dent on a 2018 Civic's rear quarter, about the size of a dinner plate, and my boss insisted I use the stud welder kit first. After an hour of pulling, heating, and cursing, I was still chasing highs and lows, so I grabbed my hammer and a curved dolly and had it 90% straight in 20 minutes of careful taps. When did we decide more tech was always the right answer for metal that just needs to be coaxed back into shape?

Honestly, sometimes you just gotta listen to the metal and tap it back.

Used to think the fancy tools were always better but your story proves sometimes the old ways just work faster lol.
