Honestly, the real scary part is how many people skip the post-change check entirely. They just start the car and go, missing that final visual once-over. That quick look under the hood is the last line of defense.

Admit I used to cut corners like that. Saw my uncle just toss the cap in the trunk once. Figured it was fine for a short drive. Then a friend's dad had his truck catch fire in a parking lot. Just a slow leak onto the hot manifold. Changed how I see every step now.
