The cardboard shim trick that fixed my Ford's rattling door panels on a transport run
Last month I was hauling a 2015 F-150 from Denver to Salt Lake and the interior door panels were buzzing like crazy every time the trailer hit a bump. I tried tightening the clips but they were worn, so I grabbed some cardboard from a packing box and wedged small strips between the panel and the metal frame. It killed the rattle completely for the whole drive, and the customer never knew. Has anyone else used a quick fix like this for interior noise complaints, or do you just note it and move on?

Wondering if you actually checked those clips before you left or just went straight to the cardboard? Seems like a gamble to trust that on a long haul if the panels were already loose.
