Rant: the lot guy at the Richmond terminal walked my car off the truck in reverse
Picked up my car at a terminal off I-95 near Richmond last month and watched the driver back it off the top deck straight down the ramp instead of pulling it around. I get why, saves him maybe 10 minutes, but watching your own car come at you in reverse is not fun. Check your car before you sign, walk the bumpers and look under the front lip, because that angle is rough on low cars. Has anyone else had a driver do the reverse-unload thing and did it leave any scrapes?
Used to figure the ramp angle was no big deal since they do it all day. Then I watched a guy drop a lowered WRX off a deck like that and the front lip ate the ramp the whole way down. Now I walk the bumpers and check under the lip before I sign anything.
