Shipped my Civic from Phoenix to Seattle for $850 and the driver showed up 4 days early
I figured a broker quoting $850 for a 1,400 mile haul was going to take my deposit and run, so I dragged my feet for two weeks before booking. The guy on the phone gave me a pickup window of Tuesday to Thursday, then a driver named Luis called Sunday night saying he was 40 miles out and could grab it in the morning. Car got to Kent with zero new scratches and the total came out to exactly what they quoted, no surprise gate fee. Has anyone else had a broker actually hit their window, or did I just get lucky?
The "driver showed up 4 days early" part is the real miracle here, since most of these guys run late, not early. Sounds like Luis had an empty backhaul and your car filled a slot he needed to fill anyway.
