That used oscilloscope from a pawn shop in Tulsa still surprises me
Picked up a Tektronix 2245A for $80 last month and after replacing two burned-out channel knobs it's reading cleaner than the shop's $2,000 unit, has anyone else found decent test gear in weird spots?
Man, that's a solid find! I once grabbed a Fluke 87 at a garage sale for 20 bucks and it only needed new fuses. Check the calibration sticker if it's still got one, and hit up the local ham radio swap meets if you want more deals like that.
