The connector pinout chart that made me question my whole career
Tbh I was wiring up a D-sub for a GPS antenna last week and glanced at the old MIL-STD pinout diagram taped to our bench. Turns out pin 9 has been designated as a spare since like 1985, but some legacy airframes still route power through it. I found that nugget in a 1997 service bulletin that my lead tech pulled from the archive. I've been doing this for 12 years and never knew that, has anyone else stumbled on a wiring fact that made you double check every connector you've ever touched?
