Took me 5 years to realize my torque wrench was the problem
I spent years chasing intermittent faults on flap actuators in our Dallas hangar, swapping out perfectly good units and rechecking every wire in the harness. Last Tuesday an older tech watched me work, then asked if I ever verified the torque wrench calibration after an impact drop. Sure enough, it was off by 23 percent, so all my connector screws were loose from day one. Anyone else ever chase a ghost that turned out to be a basic tool issue?
