Logged 1,000 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail and my knees quit on me
Hit the thousand mile mark at Sonora Pass last month and had to sit there for an hour because both knees were shot. Anyone else deal with knee pain this early on a thru hike, or did I just mess up my training?

That sounds brutal, sitting at Sonora Pass with dead knees. A thousand miles is no joke, and your body was probably telling you to slow down, not that you messed up training.
