Just left the local feed store and I'm fired up
Went to Wilson's Feed & Grain this morning for some layer pellets and they had a whole display of those 'chicken diaper' things. $18 for a pack of 3. Who is actually putting diapers on their chickens and why would you buy them at a feed store of all places? Am I missing something here?

@wadea53 that story about the frozen hen is killing me. Those things are a total scam for most birds. Chickens are not dogs, they don't tolerate stuff strapped to them. Beaks will find those straps too and start picking at them, leading to a mess.

You got a friend who actually tried those? My buddy Dave bought a pack for his silkies, swore it was so he could let them roam the house without crap on his floor. Said he put one on his favorite hen and she just stood there frozen for two hours, wouldn't move an inch. He said it was like she was personally offended by the whole thing. Eventually he took it off and the bird shook her feathers like she'd been traumatized. Last I heard they're still sitting in his garage collecting dust.
