TIL my ruined batch of brownies during a group video chat had a silver lining
Was baking for a virtual get-together with coworkers. Totally forgot the timer. Brownies came out like hockey pucks. Everyone saw and started sharing their own kitchen fails. Now we swap recipes every Friday. Anybody else have a baking mess turn out okay?

Oh man, that totally happened to me. I once tried to make cookies for my book club and used salt instead of sugar by mistake. They were so bad we almost cried laughing, and now "salty cookies" is our group's inside joke for any mistake.
