Customer told me my fades were too "heavy" for a month straight before I finally got it

He kept saying the blend had no weight to it and after watching him point at a magazine photo for the 5th time I realized I was leaving too much bulk at the parietal ridge, anyone else have a client whose criticism just clicked after a few visits?

Man that "blend had no weight" thing really hit me. I had a guy for like three months tell me his sides looked "choppy" every time he came in. I thought I was doing a good job with the shear work but he kept pointing at his temple area. Finally one day I just stopped trying to fix it and asked him to show me exactly what he meant. He grabbed my hand and put it on his head and I felt this little ridge I had been missing the whole time. Felt like an idiot but it fixed everything once I softened that spot.
