PSA: the old school on 5th in Akron still has its original chairs, and they got me thinking
Stopped by a shop on 5th in Akron last week while visiting my brother and saw six original 1940s chairs bolted to the floor, worn down to bare metal on the arms. The owner said four of them still get used daily and the footrests never once needed a wrench. Anyone else still running ancient chairs, and do yours hold up better than the new stuff?
