Honestly, those online inspirations can streamline the consultation process (no more 'just a little off the top' vagueness). It sets a base that skilled barbers can then elevate with their own artistry.

A friend of mine always struggled to describe what he wanted at the barbershop. He started bringing in screenshots from Instagram, and his barber finally nailed the exact fade he was imagining. It gave the barber a clear starting point to work their magic, just like you said.
