Vent: hit 500 cuts on one pair of clipper blades and now I feel dumb for tossing the last set
I keep a tally on the mirror at my chair in Lexington and finally counted up to 500 cuts on the same blade before sending it out for sharpening. I used to swap blades way earlier because the shop owner back in 2019 told me they'd go dull fast, so I was buying new ones twice a year for no reason. The sharpener guy laughed and said most blades can take way more than that if you oil them right and clean the fuzz out. Any of you track cut counts, or am I the only weirdo with a marker on the mirror?
