Appreciation post: a kid on my route last Tuesday made me rethink my whole rain setup
He was maybe 12 and had a cut up milk jug zip tied over his rear rack, and it worked better than the $70 panniers I bought in Seattle two winters ago. I have been overthinking gear while he just solved the same problem with trash. Anyone else ever get humbled by a fix that costs almost nothing?
